When I started at CFSH, I felt broken. I had neck and back issues, and wondered if Crossfit was even the best option for me. I couldn't run or jump, but I had done Crossfit for a little while before that, and loved the workouts. The coaches at CFSH were so patient with me - they scaled movements so that I could still get a good workout in and they kept on encouraging me. With the coaches support and the help of Coach Keelee's nutrition program, I am feeling stronger than ever. They have helped me get confidence back, and I know that with their continued support and encouragement, I will just keep getting stronger. Not only are the coaches a reason I kept going back, but also the community. The CFSH community is amazing and makes me look forward to going to the gym!
If you told me before I found CFSH that I would gleefully and eagerly spend money to do burpees and thrusters in a gym - I would have laughed in your face. But this community keeps you coming back for more! Give it one class, and I promise you’ll be hooked.

When I moved to Austin, I wanted to find a community and a new lifestyle. Never would I have thought I’d find everything I was looking for and more with CFSH. I’ve made so many friends while getting stronger and fitter. I absolutely love this community from the bottom of my heart and love how amazing the coaches all are. I used to hate physical activity but has become part of my life thanks to this gym! Proud Crossfitter!
It’s amazing the number of great people in my life that I wouldn’t have ever met if it wasn’t for CFSH.
Prior to joining CFSH I tore a ligament in my foot leaving me in a walking boot for months. With the help of Coach Keelee and our PT sessions, I not only hit my old PRs, but surpassed them! I was also able to focus on building my lat muscles, which helped improve all my lifts!
The coaches and athletes are encouraging and celebrate your milestones. It's an amazing feeling knowing that members see your progress from when you first walked in, to being "Athlete of the Month".
This year I’ll be representing CFSH at Wodapolooza for the 2nd time. The qualifying workouts, pre-comp training, and the event itself push us to accomplish things we’ve never attempted before. The support of our box & coaches (+ lots of hard work and laughs) make it all possible!
