CrossFit Level 1 Certification
American Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED
I've strived to maintain a level of fitness ever since athletics growing up and my time in the US military after college. I'm not the best but I'm willing to work hard and being relatively fit has always been important to me. I've found that being disciplined in one area of my life helps me be more disciplined in other areas of life and available for those things that are more important to me than fitness - like my family and Jesus. I found CrossFit in 2010 and have been hooked ever since. Even when I stepped away for a couple of years to go back to school for my MBA I was hungry for and missed what I had found: a camaraderie and community that pushed me to be better but that was even warmer than the military. I found a shining example of what a fantastic CrossFit box could be when I walked through the garage door at CFSH and have loved getting to know these people and in pushing myself alongside them to be better than I was yesterday.
There's something waiting to be unlocked in each of us. I don't know what that is for you but I'd love to be a small part of your journey as you find out. So many have poured into and helped me through the years and I feel called to serve. I'm grateful for the opportunity to coach and I hope to spur you on and give you a fist bump the next time you stop by. Come in. Do the work. The results will come. You've got a great group of people cheering you on.
