  • Tim was born and bred in surf city USA – Huntington Beach, California. He played all the main sports growing up, from basketball to football with gymnastics and boxing in between, but it was surfing and baseball that was always a constant throughout those glory days. He found CrossFit in 2011 and was fortunate enough to be taught the fundamental basics from some great and extremely knowledgeable coaches and athletes. Helping people to achieve their fitness goals, watching the transformation take place and ultimately their lives changing is the most rewarding part of being a CrossFit coach. “Intense physical training reveals your inner spirit and tests your strength.   • Keelee’s athletic background began when she was five years old on the pitcher’s mound in Houston, Texas. She continued to pursue athletics through high school and ultimately became an officer of the drill team. As a 2006 graduate from SHSU Keelee became a 5th grade math and science teacher. In 2012 Keelee walked into her first CrossFit box and was immediately hooked. With her athletic background, the core fundamentals of CrossFit reminded her of what it was like to be a part of a team. Continuously aspiring to maintain a strong body and mind, CrossFit has empowered Keelee to share that same passion with others and was certified in early 2015.

  • Jennifer grew up in Southern California playing soccer and enjoying the outdoors. As most young adults she spent her 20’s and early 30’s having great fun, focusing on her career, traveling and not giving any thought to fitness. At 38, she stepped into a CF Box and everything changed. She could not run 400 meters without stopping to walk nor do a single push up. Today she works to improve her 1 mile time and works on weighted push-ups. She is extremely passionate about CrossFit and helping others understand it’s a process and to enjoy the journey.

  • CrossFit became my training regiment in 2011. Ever since then, I have trained and tried to learn everything I can about the sport. In a lot of ways, it has gotten me to where I am today. I am currently pursuing entry into a physical therapy doctorate program, and if all goes well, that will begin within the next year. In the years before, I served as a Field Artillery Officer in the Army leaving as a Captain. For about 4 years after the Army, I was a military contractor in the states and deployed to Afghanistan. The primary task of those jobs was to train Soldiers. Training Soldiers in all situations: classroom and field environments. The passion for training began to get intertwined with CrossFit. The same reward from seeing a Soldier realize the capability that he could bring to the battlefield is the same as seeing an athlete hit their first snatch or double under.

    Funny things about me that you won't know unless I tell you or you're around me for a while. I carry a poker face all the time. It may be a side effect from a car accident I had as a teenager. My wife hates it, but it makes it easy to mess with people working in retail. I don't play that game in front of a class, so don't try to read into it to much. I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. Additionally, I have nearly ten years experience as a butcher. I may joke about people asking me how to cook a particular cut of meat at work, but if you want advice, I'll, most likely, be able to point you in the right direction. We train to eat, and we eat to train.

  • Alex has been involved in sports since he was in elementary school. He enjoyed playing baseball, soccer, football, track- just about anything that allowed him to learn, have fun, and compete. While working on his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management at Texas A&M University, he was introduced to CrossFit and started to compete in local competitions. He was fortunate enough to win a few competitions and place top three in others. He enjoys continuing to learn about fitness and health and share that knowledge with others through hard work and motivation.

  • Tyler is one of the first athletes-turned-coach at Crossfit Strength Haven. A native of Honolulu, HI, he grew up in Round Rock, TX and spent most of his childhood playing competitive soccer. After pursuing percussion throughout high school and college, he began CrossFit shortly after graduation when his mom suddenly took up the sport. He figured if she could do it there was no excuse why he couldn’t. Tyler joined his first CrossFit box in early 2016 and has been a devoted CrossFitter ever since.
  • Tyler received his Bachelors of Science degree in Human Biology from Cornell University. At the box, he is the guy who drives the yellow car and air-dries his shirts on weekends. He very much enjoys a morning cup of coffee, watching Broadway musicals, and listening to Kendrick Lamar.
