ATHLETE OF THE MONTH
We are so stoked to announce that March’s Athlete of the Month is ALEX PAPPAS! Alex comes in every day with a positive and hard working attitude. He’s a team player, cheers others on and pushes his fellow athletes. He puts his head down and does the work all while totally enjoying the process. He gives his undivided attention to the coaches, takes cues/advice and runs with it. Aside from being an awesome CrossFitter, Alex is a kind-hearted, all around great guy. We are so thankful and honored that he has made CFSH his home box. You represent CFSH proudly!
When and how did you get started with CFSH?
I got started with CFSH on March 14th by my beautiful girlfriend Caitlin bringing me in to the opening night
What has been your favorite & least favorite workout?
My favorite workout was the 15m AMRAP:
5, 10, 15… pull ups
10, 20, 30… double unders
15, 30, 45… air squat
1, 2, 3… squat snatch
Then the workout that killed me the most was the 5m AMRAPs of:
12 cal row
27, 24, 21, 18, 15, 12, 9, 6, 3 wall balls
What’ the best part about working out at CFSH?
The best part about working out at CFSH are the people I workout with. The coaches and the people are extremely encouraging and I enjoy being able to do the workout with others.
What’s the wallpaper on your phone right now?
The wallpaper on my lock screen is Galatians 2:20 and then the wallpaper on my home screen is “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”
What is your ultimate “cheat meal?”
Pizza for sure
Are you a sweet or salty food kind of guy?
I am a sweet kind of guy.
If you could be any superhero, who would you be and why?
The Hulk is the superhero I would want to be because he is really strong, a man of few words, and can probably eat whatever he wants and look the same

Alaskan Bush People
